It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Home life has been unusually hectic with my stepson asnd his family living with us. This family inlcudes 3 kids, one just born in February.
But fear not! I’ve made the Great Escape! Camp is open, school is out and now I can spend the majority of my time at camp where it’s quiet.
Of course just when you think you have it made, something has to happen. Mine happened when I got a smart phone. Obviously it’s not too smart because it doesn’t work at camp.
Leave it to my almost 15 year-old daughter to save the day! She introduced me to TextFree, a texting service you can use online.
We do have Internet service, so I am thrilled to have found this.
As the name implies, it is FREE…my favorite word!
You get a local number and text from the Internet just as you would from your phone….except the keyboard is larger (yea!)
If you want to give it a try, go to http://pinger.com/textfree/, set up an account and give it a try.
You’ll love it!

I’ve read a few excellent stuff here. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how a lot effort you set to make this sort of fantastic informative site.
Sometimes free doesn’t mean best…
You learn something new everyday. Such a great site. I just told my mom about Textfree and she is so excited.
I like the idea of camping but I’m not sure if it’s what you really mean. lol Well that free service is still worth a try.
