Even though I work at home, I don’t necessarily work from home itself all the time.
For instance, yesterday my daughter had a doctors appointment. Her friend came along and we went to the science museum after the appointment.
Of course, in the middle of the museum, a GREAT idea for a blog post come to me. I already had a few key sentences in mind. I whipped out my handy- dandy Blackberry (remember, it’s my new not so favorite note-taking device).
I started texting, then noticed that I had a couple of misspelled words.
Here we go again! I can’t stand it- if I notice a misspelled word, I HAVE to fix it!
Go back…delete, delete, delete
Fix the word…
Geez, hit the wrong key
Back, delete
Continue on…realize I forgot to start at the END of the sentence- the cursor was still back where I had fixed the mistake.
Delete, delete,delete….
Go to END of the last sentence…
Start again, go to capitalize a letter and accidentally hit the “alt” key.
Don’t realize it….
I’m looking at letters, just texting away. Look up at my screen and see a bunch of numbers..
What the hey?
Oh for goodness sake….
I’m quite rattled by now. My fingers couldn’t hit the right keys if my life depended on it…………..
Sit down to compose myself.
Ok, start over………….
Now what was that great idea I had for a blog post?
How about you? Do you have a hard time texting? Do you think it’s an age thing? I mean, my daughter can walk, talk, chew gum AND text at the same time!
Or is it just me?

I don’t have a hard time texting, but I also have an older phone so I can’t do all the fancy stuff others do. I will say that a friend of mine tried to send me a message through someone else last night and his iPhone switched the word “tweetup” to “treetop” and confused us all.

That is too funny!
LMAO! I SO relate to that and to make matters worse, the stinkin’ keys are so bloody small you need a magnifying glass to see them!!! I never have my reading glasses available. Oh, this was hilarious! I feel your pain!!
