When you work from home on the Internet, you are always looking for ways to save a little time.
I’ve tried various tools in the past- some I love, others I wasn’t so keen on.
For instance, I couldn’t handle Tweetdeck. Just too much going on….my adult ADD was not liking it.
I just downloaded a new Firefox add-on I found called YooNo.
You can combine all of your social networks and instant messaging in one easy to use app . Get all your updates, update your status and share across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & more – it’s pretty cool.
There is a sidebar on the side of your web page so you can easily access the services- it can be collapsed if it is in your way or bothering you (ya know- the adult ADD thing). There is also a small alert box near the bottom of the screen that lets you know if someone has updated their face book or tweeted on twitter. This too can be turned off.
I’m thinking I might keep this one, but then again I just started using it….
So tell us, what is your favorite Internet tool, and why?
I’m missing the adult ADD thing. I use TweetDeck, and I think it’s perfect and offers so many things you can do to customize it. Every once in awhile it’s quirky, but so is pretty much everything else.
Other than that I can’t say I have a favorite tool since I don’t use tons of tools. I’m assuming a blog doesn’t count, so other than that I’m at a loss.

Like Mitch, I do enjoy Tweetdeck (That is, when I’m actually using Twitter and not being reclusive).
However, I just installed YooNo, and I think that it’s AWESOME! Thank you so much for showing my this plugin. This is going to save me a LOT of time!
